A “bullet
catcher” is a common term for a bodyguard.
But there’s nothing common about these Bullet
Catchers
The Bullet Catchers are an elite group of security and protection
specialists who are considered the cream of the crop of contract bodyguards.
They do not work for splashy corporate security firms; they do not accept hourly-wage
assignments to protect wealthy people who want to impress their friends; they
do not consist of former bouncers and night-shift guards who are looking to
make extra money and hang around the rich and famous.
The Bullet Catchers are the best of the best. The organization is comprised
of a tight-knit group of men and women who are experts in every aspect of protection
and security. There is no office. No headquarters. No published phone number.
No web site. In order to hire a Bullet Catcher, a client must know one person.
That person is Lucy Sharpe.
A former CIA agent and gifted security specialist, Lucy Sharpe runs the Bullet
Catchers from her sprawling mansion in upstate New York. There, she makes assignments,
arranges training programs, interviews candidates for both client and employee
positions, and has, on occasion, made grown men cry.
Having developed close and trusting relationships with the best bodyguards
and protection specialists in the world, Lucy created the Bullet Catchers cadre,
and has managed the successful business for several years. When not overseeing
assignments and bodyguards, she entertains some of the most powerful and influential
people in the world.
But only some of the marquis guests of Lucy’s lair qualify to become
Bullet Catcher clients; she is highly selective. Her bodyguards are without
match and her clients must not only be wealthy and worthy, they must agree
to let the Bullet Catchers call the shots in order to keep a client from taking
one.
To become a Bullet Catcher, a candidate must have a unique talent. Their varied
background and skills include executive and individual protection, threat assessment,
covert surveillance, hostage negotiations, riot control, explosive device disarming,
crisis management, corporate and executive protection, and all forms of personal
security. Some are trained investigators, others are expert marksmen and black
belts, some are former law enforcement officers or former special operations
military, others have exclusive proficiencies such as piloting, defensive and
evasive driving, security system design and counter terrorism experience.
None has ever lost a client.
In addition to being physically fit, licensed to carry, and only hostile if
the situation requires it, all of the Bullet Catchers have heroic personal
qualities: loyalty, leadership, integrity, reliability, confidence, commitment
and the highest ethics and morals.
The Bullet Catchers are honorable, kick-ass and alpha to the bone. And, of
course, Lucy prefers them to be to die for good-looking.
They’ll watch your back. You watch your heart.
Here come the Bullet Catchers. |
